Hello! I am so excited you are interested in at home sessions with JHP!

In case we have not met yet, I’d like to introduce myself. My husband, Paden, and I moved to Hidden Oaks a year ago and absolutely love this neighborhood and all of the wonderful people. We have two kids, Sawyer (3) and Anniston (1.5) who are full of energy, cuddles & apple juice. I graduated from UCO with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and minors in photography and marketing. I started doing photography as a hobby and quickly realized how much I loved serving others through it as a business. I get to meet and hang out with so many families + couples that are filled with so much love and happiness. One of my favorite things is when I get to photograph a family year after year and see how much the kids have grown. I feel like a part of your family [in a non-creepy way :) ]. How could I not love it?!

I have been shooting families and weddings for almost 4 years now and I just cannot get enough! While mostly my business focuses on weddings + couples, I have a passion for families. Since having one of my own, I appreciate photography in a way that I was not expecting! Life goes by seriously fast with kids and before we know it we don't have any photos with our entire family in them. I want to help you fix this!

Because I am introducing a new business model and type of lifestyle session, I am offering Hidden Oaks a special with my sitting fee of $100 waived. Once your session is complete + edited, we will setup a reveal to see your portraits where you can choose what prints + canvases you’d like to purchase. A digital file + print release will also be included with each print purchased. I will be offering a 10% discount on prints purchased. I am also thinking of offering albums. Please let me know if this interests you. Albums are a great way to display your photos and look great on a shelf!

The session will last about a hour and a half. I will focus on two rooms (and your backyard if you'd like) in your home with the best window lighting, so don't worry about cleaning your entire house spotless. (let's be real, kids are tornadoes with no time frames)

Doing an At Home session allows me to come into your home and capture these fleeting moments. As a mom, I understand from the bottom of my heart how completely special these times are. I know even I struggle with printing my photos. (gasp!) I realize how important it is to have tangible prints to cherish instead of a USB thrown in a drawer. (guilty!) In 2017 I am vowing to change this and I want you to come along with me!

During these sessions I want to capture your family doing everyday things such as:

snuggling

reading books

playing a board game

playing in the backyard (our personal favorite!)

making cookies

making breakfast or dinner

pillow fighting

eating popsicles

dog piling

or whatever you guys love to do as a family!

You name it. The intimacy of your home is where the walls are let down and love is free to run resulting in some of the sweetest and precious moments.
